My five year old wasnt impressed with this = the paper gets caught and doesnt rip well. The markers dont stay in the holes - the desk is clunky and akward. Buy a coloring book and call it a day!..

The imagination desk is a wonderful toy. My three year old loves it. She took a while to get used to using it on her own (adding pages and using the go button) but now shes a pro. The part that holds the paper inside does tend to snap off alot, but i think that is a good thing because it snaps right..

The flat top of the desk that is also the magnetic board ,to be used with the magnetic letters that come with desk, is meant to able to flip open to reveal a storage space within the desk.
