I, and a co-worker, have lexmark printers that take this cartridge and we both have run out of yellow at the same time. This color cartridge has been installed for almost two months with minimal usage. The printer control program indicates it is 87-90% FULL, but yellow is gone now.

Ive owned a HP printer which required the use of the 1823D cartridge, and this cartridge seems to be a vast improvement over that one.
