The D-NE300s simple controls allowed us to find our way around the units features with little fuss. The two-line dot matrix display was especially handy for viewing the names of our MP3 and ATRAC3plus tracks. Sonys G-Protection feature can be programmed to offer two levels of protection from stutters and skips when the unit is jarred or shaken. I like the AVLS because my kids will use this. The sound is pretty good, and the price is fairly good since I can make MP3s for this player.
It is not perfect, but I like the weight. I wish it had a clip though...
