This book is good if you have your instrument rating, but it is not set up for trying to learn the techniques. Most of the book assumes that you know what it is talking about, but it does offer an entire chapter of a glossery.
Good reading, but not for someone wanting a headstart on their intrume..

I am very satisfied with this product. The grafics are awesomeand very real. When I tried the first time, I didnt get anything better than 5 frames/sec. But when I maximized at full screen and closed most of background programs, the result was great (20-30 frames/sec). I have even got 190 frames/sec..

While impressive in features, Flight Simulator 98 is geared toward enthusiasts, not those who want get flying quickly and start diving under bridges, etc.If youve never owned a FlightSim before, Id recommend buying an older, cheaper version to see if you like this type of program...

I will call this book TD2, a sequel to the blockbuster, "The Travel Detective." Supposedly, the tips are submitted by air crew members (pilots and attendants), although the text appears in first-person format with Peter Greenberg as the author. TD2 has 370 pages of comments and tips on where to shop..
